I thought I'd take a couple of photo's to show you the growing baby bump at 17 weeks along. I have my next scan in 2 weeks time so I will have a couple more detailed scan pics to show you all.
I'm still at the stage of just feeling a bit fat... until the bump is a bit more solid and I start feeling babies movements, then I feel a little as though I've just eaten all the pies!
I can't get my head around how quickly it's all going this time. I had so much more time to think about every little thing last time but now that I'm so busy with Rose, the time is just whizzing by..! It's already July... I'm going to have to be really organised for Christmas this year And every birthday before that!! If the baby is 2 weeks late then that would take me up until Christmas eve... that's just a bit too close for my liking to be honest! :-)

You look adorable. The second goes faster for some reason. Probably because you ae so busy with the first one.

ReplyDeleteOh Ashley, you look gorgeous! The second does go quicker as you don't have as much time to stop and think about it - I'm sure Rose is keeping you busy! xx

ReplyDeleteYou certainly don't look like you the all the pies! You nelly!! I have bump envy. You are so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteWhen I was 17 weeks preggers with Wilf I was still having to hide the bump as I was waiting for Amnio results. It was hilarious. I was huge as you can imagine, third baby and all that. I got some very funny looks/ People kept opening their mouths as though to say "Are you pregnant?" but then shutting in in case I was just comfort eating.

I love seeing bump photos. My son was born on Christmas eve, little monkey. He was early though. Take care of your self xxx

ReplyDeleteLol Karen x
Very cute little bump you have! Congratulations!!
ReplyDeleteYou definitely do not look fat - your bump is gorgeous! Little Son is a Christmas holiday baby and it was such a magical time to have him. Snowy blizzards on the way to hospital and then bringing him home to the Christmas tree. Makes me all dreamy again! Lily. xxx
ReplyDeleteYou look fantastic. Definitely pregnant, not fat. I totally agree about it going faster second time around. I reached 20 weeks on Tuesday and can hardly believe I'm now in the 2nd half. Our little one is due at the end of Nov and like you I'm thinking we're going to have to be super organised about Christmas. I'm definitely already starting to think about presents which seems a bit crazy really. But I'm determined to be organised this time. Our little boy came 2 months early and we were far from organised! Fiona x
ReplyDelete*Squeal* it's all sooooo exciting. You don;t lok fat at all, you can tell it is a little baby bump, I promise :)
ReplyDeleteI love your camera strap cover. Very personal and very pretty x x x x
You and your baby bump look just lovely :)
ReplyDeleteI am finding the time has been flying by as well (though this is my first pregnancy)..I just blink and a week has already passed on by :P
That is so not a pie eating tummy, that is very much a baby bump. You look totally gorgeous. 'Maternity' clothes are so much nicer these days than when I was pregnant. I miss baby kicks still all these years later.

Hello there,
ReplyDeleteI have completely abandoned the blog world following the breaking of my own but am now happily putting the final touches to a new one (though to be fair have been doing so for a few weeks now) and have just started catching up on everything again.
Loving to see that you are also pregnant again, we are also, 24 weeks now. Isn't it so different the second time round? It just goes so fast, I keep having to remember to take pictures of me pregnant for fear that there will be none and the second child syndrome starts even before birth!
I am off to read back further...
Nelly (NellysEggs as was, I will link to my new one in next few days) xx
You look amazing! What a beautiful bump indeed.
ReplyDeleteHave a fab week hon,
Leah
I know what you mean about time whizzing by when you have another one to look after. I'm now at the end of my pregnancy - due 10th!! No putting my feet up this time round with a toddler to entertain all day. You have a lovely neat bump and don't look fat at all.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! You look beautiful!
ReplyDeletewow haven't been in blog land for a while and what a fab post to read on my return. That bump is so very cute! Your second bump really does just pop back to where you were with the first so quickly - hope you are feeling well and not too tired x
ReplyDeleteYou are looking gorgeous!! Very definitely pregnant and not fat at all!!
